Coastal Resources Commission Schedules Conference Call Feb. 10

RALEIGH – The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission will conduct a meeting by telephone at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10.

The purpose of the conference call is for commission members to vote on making permanent the CRC’s temporary rule (15A NCAC 07H .2700) that established a General Permit for the construction of riprap sills for the protection of existing, created or restored wetlands. Permits for riprap sills were previously available only through the Major Permit process. 

The conference call is scheduled so that the CRC can adopt a permanent rule before the temporary rule expires on March 12.

Members of the public may listen to the meeting at the following Division of Coastal Management offices:
